My Story

For much of my life, beginning again was something life asked of me. I grew up in Lebanon during the war, in a large family, and change was part of our everyday life. We moved from one home to another, leaving behind schools, familiar places, and friendships. Each move meant adjusting, finding my place again, and learning to carry a sense of home within me.

Even then, I held on to a simple dream: a loving marriage, a warm home, and a big family filled with children, laughter, and love. I never imagined that my life would take me across countries, that I would become an entrepreneur, or that I would one day find my way into coaching. My dreams were different then, and so was the path I thought I would follow.

Years later, I immigrated to Canada hoping to save my marriage and hold on to the future I had imagined. That dream did not unfold as I had hoped. After my divorce, I found myself beginning again, this time with my daughter, building a life in a new country and discovering strengths I had not fully recognised in myself.

Starting MAD DESIGN INTERIORS became an important part of that new beginning. Design gave me a way to express my creativity, connect with people, and help them create homes that felt like their own. It also taught me how much listening matters: understanding not only what someone wants their space to look like, but how they want to feel living in it. I discovered that the relationships I built were just as meaningful to me as the spaces I helped create.

Over the years, I have changed homes, countries, plans, and dreams. Some changes were my choice; others were not. I have learned that a dream can change without losing its meaning, and that beginning again can open doors we never expected. I do not see the difficult chapters as the whole of my story. I see the lessons, the courage I found along the way, the joy that remained possible, and the person I continued to become.

Friends, family, and clients have often told me they feel comfortable opening up to me. For a long time, I thought listening with care and making someone feel at ease was simply part of who I was. With time, I came to recognise it as a gift I wanted to nurture. That is what led me toward Life and Wellness Coaching and Grief Coaching: a chance to bring together my lived experiences, my curiosity about people, and my belief in their ability to find their own way forward.

Today, my hope is to offer a warm, thoughtful space where you can pause, feel heard, reconnect with yourself, and explore what is possible. I know that life does not always follow the plan we make. I also know that our stories can keep unfolding, with new beginnings, new dreams, and room for joy.

Sometimes becoming means letting a dream change shape, and giving yourself permission to begin again.
